Fate Core

Evil Hat’s Fate is my favorite tabletop roleplaying rules engine.

There are a lot of rules summaries out there but none were quite what I wanted to use during play, so I made my own and have been refining it at the table for a long time. 

My rules summary has three landscape pages: 

• A main summary with a grid showing what happens for every combination of the Four Actions against the Four Outcomes, the ways to earn & spend Fate points, the Ladder, and a few other key rules
• A summary of less-used key rules, including stress / consequences / recovery, campaign milestones, and a diagram of the standard Skills list showing which ones support which actions
• A GM’s summary with rules for contests / challenges / conflicts, GM use of Fate points, creating nameless NPCs, and a few other bits of advice

The file includes both color and black-and-white versions of the main summary.
